Sense Professional Now Supports GUI Plugins
July 22, 2012
Silva Elm Ltd, Reading, England, announces the 1.15.0 release of its Sense Professional Document Editor with new GUI Plugin support and an integrated FTP Client.
Specialized document types may now be presented for editing within field based user interfaces reducing the need for direct contact with the underlying Sense Document.
The introduction of the GUI Plugin support widens the scope for using Sense Documents as de facto databases where lookup, replication and general management of content may be carried out efficiently via purpose-made user interfaces.
As demonstrated by the recently released RSS Editor Plugin, the GUI plugin support is flexible allowing quite disparate controls, such as a web-browser and control panel, to provide a complete single application solution.
The utilization of Sense Documents as de facto databases coupled with the newly integrated FTP Client may provide the opportunity for Sense to be used for low-overhead low-cost business solutions.
Sense Professional is designed for Microsoft Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 operating systems and requires .NET 2.0.
More information may be obtained from the Silva Elm website http://www.silvaelm.co.uk where the Sense Version 1.15.0 download is now available for free evaluation along with the demonstration RSS Editor Plugin.
Silva Elm Ltd, based in Reading, England, is a small privately owned software development company.
